MEMBER REVIEW: This DVD traces the scientific detective story of the Chixulub asteroid, and goes into the fossil evidence of how devastating it was to all life on Earth, especially microorganisms in the oceans, at the base of the food chain. It ties together various scientific disciplines to tell what happened and the disastrous outcome it brought. It is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute short film from 2012, and well done with interactive features, though you can enjoy it without accessing those. This is fun for dinosaur fans and asteroid people as well.
